I just discovered a piece I wrote for Elle Decor that's now available on-line. It's one of my favorites, mostly because the featured designer Eric Hughes is a dear friend (and it's a good, chic renovation story). Hughes, who once worked as a Hollywood executive shepherding serious cult classics like Bride of Chuckie and Bring It On, fled the film business. After a sojurn in India, he came home and a friend asked him to decorate her newly acquired Hampton's house, and a career was born. The friend was Sarah Jessica Parker....Anyway, here's the Elle Decor article that appeared in 2008. Enjoy.
